Founded in 2003 by a small group of expatriates seeking weekend recreation, Mulligans United has grown into JB's most respected expat golfing community with over 50 active members from 12 different countries.
We embrace the traditions of golf while fostering international friendships. Our society values sportsmanship, honesty, and the gentleman's approach to the game, all while enjoying Malaysia's beautiful courses and climate.
Beyond golf, we're a support network for expatriates in Johor Bahru. Our members help newcomers settle in, share local knowledge, and create lasting bonds that extend well beyond the 18th hole.
We meet every Sunday at midday for an 12.30 ish tee-off. Course rotation is announced weekly. All members receive what's app notifications with details by Monday.
Sunday of each month features our Stableford Medal competition with handicap adjustments and special prizes. Annual Champions receive the coveted Mulligans Cup. this year theme for the Hat is Elvis
thoughtout the year, we organize trips to premier courses around Asean region. Our annual international trips takes us to destinations like Thailand, Vietnam, or Indonesia.
Post-game refreshments and lunch at the clubhouse are a cherished tradition. Prize presentations, friendly banter, and planning future games happen over cold drinks.
Our home base features a championship 18-hole course designed by Ross Watson. Known for its challenging terrain, strategic water hazards, and immaculate condition throughout the year.
We regularly play all three 18-hole courses: Allamanda, Cempaka, and Melati. Each offers unique challenges with varying levels of difficulty suitable for all handicap levels.
This Jack Nicklaus-designed masterpiece provides three distinct courses with breathtaking views of the Straits of Johor. The immaculate greens and world-class facilities make this a favorite.
The oldest course in JB offers a traditional layout with mature trees and strategic bunkering. Its central location and heritage make it a regular in our rotation.
This scenic course offers 18 holes of challenging play with its undulating fairways and well-placed bunkers. The hillside location provides spectacular views and refreshing breezes throughout your round.
With three distinct 18-hole courses (Plantation, Village, and Straits), this club offers variety and challenge. We particularly enjoy the Straits course with its scenic waterfront holes and strategic layout.
This well-maintained course features rolling terrain, strategic water hazards, and fast greens. The beautiful landscaping and excellent facilities make this a popular choice in our rotation.
Prospective members must first join us as a guest for at least two Sunday games. This allows you to experience our society and for our members to welcome you. Contact our captain or chairman to arrange your guest appearance.
Submit your application with a valid handicap certificate (or three scorecards for handicap assessment). Applications require endorsement from two existing members who have played with you, we use the MYScorecard app going forward
Our membership committee reviews all applications monthly. Upon approval, you'll receive a welcome package including our society rules, membership card, and upcoming schedule.
Membership fees are RM300 annually, covering the current shirt administration, website maintenance, and subsidized society events. Weekly green fees are paid separately at each venue.

From championship victories to amusing mishaps, from perfect weather days to challenging monsoon rounds, every Sunday adds new stories to our collective experience.

Our annual championship points race Race to the Rock"tracks performance across all society events. Points are awarded for participation, finishing position, and special achievements like closest-to-pin or longest drive. The current season's top performers are listed above.
Members must confirm participation by Thursday 6 PM via our whats app group or by contacting the weekly coordinator. This allows us to book the appropriate number of tee times and arrange groupings.
Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance so we can adjust groupings. Last-minute cancellations may incur a nominal fee as the society still pays for reserved tee times.
Members can bring guests by notifying the captain in advance. Guest fees maybe slightly higher than member rates. The same guest may play up to three times before being required to apply for membership.
